Lynette Stiner, 63, of Decatur, IL, formerly of Moweaqua, IL, passed away on Saturday (Oct. 8, 2011) in Pontiac, IL.
A graveside service to celebrate Lynette's life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday (Oct. 12, 2011) at Bilyeu Cemetery, Moweaqua, IL. Visitation will be from 12:30-2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, Macon. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Illinois Special Olympics.
Mrs. Stiner was born on October 18, 1947 in Dalton City, IL, the daughter of Alvin Carl and Helen Irene (Herron) Burress. She was a CNA and a homemaker. Lynette attended Grace Baptist Church in Moweaqua. She married Donald "Donnie" Stiner on February 16, 1974. He preceded her in death on May 3, 2000.
Surviving are her children: Brian (Bonnie) Coffman of Phoenix, AZ, Lisa Dewane of Phoenix, AZ, Shannon Stiner of Pontiac, IL and Jason (Angela) Stiner of Pontiac, IL; brothers: Curtis Burress of Bartonville, IL and Dennis Burress of Decatur, IL; grandchildren: Ashley, Michael, Amanda and Kole.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Donnie Stiner, brother: Gary Burress, Sr., infant brother: Robert Burress, sister: Betty McConnell.
